Good logistics must allow the enterprise and all those within it to blossom by facilitating not only their daily routine but also their potentially unusual interactions.

The Management Team of EPFL has put the Vice-Presidency for Planning and Logistics at the crossroads of education and research, where Educational Programs and Academic Units intersect. It forms a platform of dialogue between the academic world and the one of business, industry, handicraft and services. Its mission consists in simplifying the processes as well as in amplifying and encouraging interchanges.

The Vice-President has the concomitant responsibility to balance the synchronic and diachronic dynamics of EPFL. He is backed up in these tasks by his deleguates, his headquarters staff as well as the chiefs of domains and services.
